This gorgeous bowl is hand built from speckled stoneware, and adorned in a beautiful, creamy glaze, that breaks over the stamped texture, highlighting its rustic quality. This bowl is the perfect medium sized fruit or serving bowl. It would also work well for a single meal such as a pasta or salad.

Process: This bowl was handcrafted by rolling the clay into a slab, stamping on the texture, and carefully forming the bowl over a hand made mold. The next day the bowl was then smoothed and given the finishing touches, fired in the kiln overnight, sanded, washed, glazed, and fired again. Each kiln firing takes about 24 hours to fire and cool. It then had one more sand to smooth any exposed stoneware it is now ready to find its new home! The slab building process results in a unique, organic shape which highlights its artisan made nature and sets it apart from all mass produced pieces.
