Handcrafted on the potter’s wheel, this porcelain vase is, finished with a creative application of my personally formulated luster glazes, and fired through a specially developed multi-stage process. During the gas reduction, an alchemical transformation occurs: the metals in the glaze shift and transmute, creating surfaces alive with iridescence. These layered, multi-glaze finishes are impossible to replicate exactly, as the nuances of application and firing ensure each piece is truly unique.
