In this 3 hour, in person workshop you will discover the basics of microwave firing, including how to select clay and glazes, source the equipment needed, and get your home studio set up. I’ll show you how to test to figure out firing times to achieve the correct heatwork for your personal setup, and how to avoid all the potential pitfalls. We’ll also go over all the health and safety considerations and you will have the opportunity to watch me demo a bisque and a glaze fire.
