This is a 2 part individual workshop.

I love working with people one on one, so this in person experience is designed to give you an intensive base for starting out in ceramics. You will gain a fundamental understanding of some of the tools, stages, and possibilities involved in working with this vast and exciting medium.

Create your own little collection of masterpieces. Perhaps you’ll feel like making a series of bowls, a couple of mugs, a hanging planter, spoon or wall hanging. We can tailor the session to wherever your inspiration draws you.

Session 1

3 Hours

Cultivate an understanding of essential ceramics processes and learn a few hand building techniques to get you started. Create a lovely series of hand built pieces.

Learn trimming and finishing techniques and apply them to your work.

Session 2 * 2 weeks after session 1

2 Hours

Discover a few fun and funky decorating techniques and glaze your beautiful creations!
